There will be an AARP-sponsored Driver Safety Class on Saturday, April 28th. The class will be held from 9AM – 4PM at Grande Ronde Hospital. A certificate will be given to all who complete the class, and most insurance companies give discounts to those who finish. The class is open to all, but is aimed at Senior Citizens. North East Oregon Cyclists and Friends will be having a group ride this Saturday. Krista Beck, a local student at ODS in La Grande, is looking for a dental hygiene patient in need of a dental cleaning. In order to get licensed, Krista will have to take a clinical board exam for the state. A qualifying patient will travel out of state to receive a free dental cleaning.
